Does anyone know of a good hero editor for single player Diablo 1? I'd like to actually go through and finish the game, but I'd rather not put a bunch of work into it. I'd just like to power through the quests, get the storyline, and be done with it.
It does allot of good things, and will keep you bussy for atleast a few weeks. First i explain in short what it does. It allows you to add/delete or modify items from your inventory or stash.
The way im doing it is in my opinion READ! It uses a resources.db to read all the item info, and images. U can download to latest version, or edit to your likings.
The resources does contain some bad item ids tough.witch will result in a unknown item or item without image and info. You are free to find that bad ids, and fix it your self! After the resources.db we have the database.db.
Diablo 3 Ros Save Editor
The database.db is importend, and it is used to add items to your save. U cannot add items without the database! For now the databse contains maybe 200 items in total.witch is not much.but dont be fooled!
The database will update itself whenever you load a save with items that are known by the resources but not by the db. U may encounter some bad items that may cause your game to freeze.try to add items carefully! Im not going to explain anything anymore.lol, its 3.45am here, and i worked quite some hours today.so im quite messed up atm ^_^' Try to enjoy what u have, and explore as much as you can! The tool has endless posibilities! Oh.and dont forget to post any bugs you may find. Im pretty sure it has some bugs, but u guys wanted a quick release.so you have to do with this untill the next update!
This tool can update itself whenever a new update is availible! How to use: Make Manual Backup of your valid d3save then fallow: 1) load your d3save by drag and drop or just by File >> Load. 2) Edit the stats and gold to your desirings. 4) Close File (File >> Close) 5) Transfer the d3save back to Your MU 6) Profit!
You should always use this tool with caution, and Make a Valid Backup beforehand. I am not responsible for any harm or damage you may cause by using this tool. So yeah, the game isn't officially even released yet and already hackers are online. I highly recommend not going online, ever, if you want to enjoy this game at all.
The online portion of this game will be full of hackers, from day one, making the game completely pointless to play online with random players. Either play with friend or alone or don't play at all. I have played the game for 2 days so far after getting my copy early, and I was really disappointed to hear this, I though I would at least get a few weeks before the hackers came in, oh well. Below are screenshots of a player who edited his game save to give himself 100 million gold and 400,000 potions: I give it a week before all character stats and items are hacked. EDIT: Update: I guess it didn't take a week and only took a few hours, character stats now hacked. It's a loot grind game, the point is finding awesome loot, if you just 'hack' some loot then why even buy the game? Eh fun is subjective I guess.
Either way I don't think the console version was designed around having to play with randoms online, it's just something you -can- do. While i can honestly say iv never hacked a game, and wouldnt even know where to even begin, I could some room for some VERY slight stat edits on a wep or somthing. I mean some of the stuff looks amazing but there is awlys 1 that will b ultimantly better due to stats. Maby u find all ur amazing gear but ur sick of a stupid Echoincg fury so i add crit damage n a socket to somthing ud rather use for the awsomee looks of it.

Mastadex's Hero Editor Diablo 1
Once loot 2.0 hits thats what xthe mystic will hopefully do any how. But the people who hqck every aspect of the game are stupid for wasting their time/$. They will all b bored and stop playing in a month or sso because there will b no real excitement to their game. Idm serial codes. However ill play for years!!!! Dill expansion/ diablo 4 comes out because ill still enjoy the game.( GRANTED I QUIT PPC BC OF THE BAD LOOT BUT THIS SEEMS MUCH MORE PROMISING)! SO TO ALL THE HONEST GAMERS OUT THERE THIS SHOD B A LONG LASTING A GREAT GAME!!!
